I feel that getting rid of (reducing) pain was the first step to getting rid of 130 pounds of weight.  I still have Rheumatoid Arthritis but I feel a lot better these days than when I weighed 275 pounds.

I am an Accountant. This is all my experience.  I have no qualifications to say anything about medical issues.  I just tell what happened to me or what seems to help and does not cost too much.


This is the Autoimmune Disease that I got when I was 40 years old.  It has been a huge learning curve and I am 54 years old today.  My symptoms are usually out of control in some way.

These are ways I try to avoid pain in the first place.  I take drugs that suppress my immune system, so I try to protect myself from everything toxic I can manage.

I get a lot of them.  I fall down and crash into things frequently.  My body is weak from years of obesity and now I use it while I exercise one hour or more every day. I have a genetic illness of my heart and I have a heart pacemaker that I do not take good care of even though that is not the goal of many very nice, highly qualified cardiologists. I don’t even pay them now and they still worry about me.

I never thought such a thing would be possible when I weighed 275 pounds. Pain was the star of my life.
